The well established ensemble, Groupo Ritmo, offers a blend of Bossa Nova, Samba and Calypso styles with a marked Latino feel.
This is just the band to lure any audience onto the dance floor with irresistible salsa rhythms.
Groupo Ritmo is available for your special event as either a two, three, or four piece ensemble.
If you prefer your Latin music softer, with a more pronounced Spanish/Flamenco feel, then the two piece ensemble may be just the right choice with its gentle persuasive sounds of guitar and saxophone.
If you require the full latino ensemble then the four piece will really spice up your event's atmosphere.
The group's repertoire includes original tunes by guitarist Guy Calhoun Ardiendo in addition to great Latin standards such as Jobim's Girl From Ipanema, Horace Silver's Song From My Father. The band also offers fiery Afro-cuban and Calypso tunes like Tito Puente's Oye Como Va and Craig Crofton's choice of George 1 and 2.

‘Thank you so much for making my day so special. Not only was it lovely having you there but the sax sounded wonderful and very me. Thats what many of my friends commented on when they heard the sax.It is also lovely as we can hear you playing throughout our wedding video.’ [PIC] ‘Blowout’ played at our wedding in May 2009 and were a stunning success. During the evening meal, perfectly weighted dinner jazz drifted amongst our diners, invoking the classy ambience we'd hoped for. With dinner and the speeches over, the band struck-up and we were into two sets of powerful, dance-inducing renditions of many classics. Even our more dance-shy guests were drawn toward the visually and acoustically impressive spectacle of ‘Blowout’ going at full tilt.
Without hesitation or exaggeration, we'd say that Blowout crowned a fantastic event in a way that we've not seen at other weddings; our guests are still talking about the performance months after the wedding! I'd warmly recommend ‘Blowout’ to anyone who wants hassle-free arrangements and great sounds, performed by talented musicians who really do play for the love of it.'
